Let's save the Arhuacos

Our mission

Laurent, co-founder of Tatwa, recently left a podcast on Tatwa's Youtube and Spotify channel explaining his recent trip to the Arhuacos and the reason for this project. We invite you to go listen to them by clicking on the links.

During a planned trip to their home, the community leaders and the Mamos, who are the spiritual guides, asked us for help because they are in danger . Their culture is in danger, their lands are in danger because of the aggressive and savage exploitation that is being done on their lands, their lives are threatened because the status of protected people does not guarantee them sufficient security to survive. The government has given them a protected nature reserve, but they must acquire it in order to have basic rights there.
They have been fighting Goliath for years, and the fight sometimes seems lost in advance.

With Tatwa we are convinced that together we can help them ! By helping them recover their land, through financial resources to be able to continue to preserve their knowledge, their culture, their life.
