Tatwa offers you elixirs made from sacred plants from the indigenous territories of the Colombian Amazon and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Our mission is to preserve this ancestral knowledge and make this traditional medicine accessible for your well-being.
Laurent Gheller, co-founder of Tatwa, began his career in Switzerland as an Engineer. His path took an unexpected turn when he faced health problems and the ineffectiveness of allopathic medicine to relieve him. He then discovered quantum medicine and attended a seminar in Germany that transformed his life.
He then decided to become a Therapist, studied kinesiology and quantum medicine, for which he graduated in 2010. This career change marked the beginning of a new chapter in his journey and the emergence of his life mission, focused on alternative medicines and well-being.
His first experience with indigenous communities dates back to 2001 in Guatemala. But it was in Colombia, in 2014, that he developed deep relationships with several peoples including the Sionas, the Kofans, and the Arhuacos.
That same year, he met Marcela Saavedra, a Colombian who would become his wife and the mother of his son. He chose to settle in Colombia and founded TATWA on August 1, 2014. Together, they opened a center in Cali where they offered their therapeutic skills. At the same time, they built a laboratory recognized by health authorities and complying with GMP standards. Tatwa Switzerland was established in 2018 to share the ancestral medicines of Colombia throughout Europe.
Tatwa is the bridge between the ancestral knowledge of indigenous communities and the needs of our Western society.
We have forged bonds of friendship and trust with these Latin American communities and have been fortunate to gain access to their millennial secrets. Supported and approved by both their higher authorities and the Colombian and Swiss health authorities, our elixirs combine ancestral tradition and cutting-edge technology to offer you natural and safe solutions.
Our mission is to protect the wealth of empirical knowledge passed down through generations within indigenous peoples. These millennia-old knowledges, at risk of extinction, are now essential for humanity's well-being and the preservation of nature.
By collaborating directly with these communities, we contribute to their visibility and protection, while making their healing practices accessible to all. Our creations thus become messengers of their cultures and wisdoms.
We have selected 9 plants, the number 9 corresponding to the completeness of man, and each elixir addresses a specific need nourishing a dimension of the human being. The subtle effectiveness of our elixirs comes from an exclusive method, which combines the rigor of Western science, traditional herbalism, shamanic practices, and other ancestral knowledge. Thanks to this unique alchemy, you have access to the complete energy of these sacred plants for an exceptional well-being experience.
We ensure the preservation of nature's balance at every stage of the production of our essences to create products of remarkable quality.
Laurent Gheller personally collects the plants in indigenous territories, accompanied by the senior authorities of the community connected to the plant being harvested. Only a few flowers from each plant are gathered at their peak energy to capture all their vitality. We take great care to ensure that this harvest is carried out with respect for nature, the plants, and the territory in order to preserve knowledge and share it respectfully.
Subsequently, our partner laboratory in Switzerland finalizes each essence according to the strict BPM and FDA standards, thus guaranteeing the highest manufacturing standards.
Today, the sacred plant elixirs Tatwa are available over the counter at Amavita, the largest pharmacy network in Switzerland, in some drugstores as well as through doctors, psychiatrists, and therapists. You can also purchase our products on this website.
